Tamarind Chutney
We have been a fan of Jenny's Kitchen Tamarind chutney for many years. When we lived in Borneo, we used to have a bulk order mailed to us there so we did not miss out! The complex sweet yet spicy piquancy complements the flavours of rice dishes, vegetables, meats, quiches, casseroles, and even toast and elevates the flavour to a whole new level. I am not a fan of very spicy food but the xhot version is stunning. Our mother had never liked chutneys but my sister-in-law promised this was one she would love and she was right. Mum was never without a jar in the fridge.
